The Lagoon 440 is a revolution in the small world of cruising multihulls. Launched in 2004, it was the first catamaran under 45 feet to boast a fly bridge and an unprecedented nacelle in the shape of a gull’s wing. With the production of 432 units, the Lagoon 440 catamaran broke world records for the under-45 feet range of catamaran. This vessel was delivered by Yacht Delivery Solutions from the Gold Coast to Hawaii and performed well on the passage where we encountered plenty of changing conditions.
Layout.
The Lagoon 440 has a unique layout that is both practical and comfortable. The saloon and galley are spacious and well lit, thanks to large windows that provide a panoramic view. The cockpit is directly accessible from the saloon and the galley, making it easy to serve meals outside. The helmstation is located on the flybridge providing a great view of the surroundings. The deck layout is clear and efficient, with wide side decks and a rigid walkway on the trampoline. The delivery crew were comfortable throughout our time on the yacht and enjoyed the owners version.
Engines and Tanks

The fuel tanks have a capacity of 650 liters, providing a good range. The water tanks have a capacity of 900 liters, ensuring a comfortable stay on board.
